Iran War Updates: Tehran Says Trump’s Claim US Wants Deal Is ‘Fake News’
Iran has received a 15-point proposal from the U.S. to reach a ceasefire in the war, the Associated Press has reporting, citing two officials from Pakistan which is acting as an intermediary.
The plan includes sanctions relief, civilian nuclear cooperation, rolling back Iran’s nuclear program, monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency, missile limits and access for shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, according to the report.
However talks of any imminent negotiations have been dismissed by Tehran. Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, said there have been no talks with the United States although did acknowledge that Pakistan was ready to host negotiations if both sides agree.
